Circular Sketch Pattern PropertyManager

Create circular sketch patterns on a plane or on a model using sketch entities or model edges to define the pattern.

To open the Circular Sketch Pattern PropertyManager:

In an open sketch, click Circular Sketch Pattern Tool_Circular_Sketch_Step_Repeat_Sketch.gif (Sketch toolbar) or Tools > Sketch Tools > Circular Pattern.

Parameters

PM_reverse_direction_circ.gif Reverse direction  
  Select a center for the pattern:

Sketch origin

Use the sketch origin (default).

Center X PM_Center_X_Coordinate.gif

Sets the pattern center along the X axis.

Center Y PM_Center_Y_Coordinate.gif

Sets the pattern center along the Y axis.

Pattern center set along X and Y axes
dim_ang_01.png Spacing Sets the number of total degrees included in the pattern.
  Equal spacing Sets pattern instances equidistant from each other.
  Dimension radius Displays the circular pattern radius.
  Dimension angular spacing Displays the dimension between pattern instances.
PM_number of_instances_circ.gif Number of Instances Sets the number of pattern instances.
  Display instance count Shows the number of instances in the pattern.
PM_Radius.gif Radius Sets the radius of the pattern.
dim_ang_02.png Arc Angle Sets an angle measured from the center of the selected entities to the center point or vertex of the pattern.

Arc Angle value set to default.
arc_angle_02.gif
Arc Angle value incremented by 20º.

Entities to Pattern

sketch_copy.png Entities to Pattern Select sketch entities in the graphics area.

Instances to Skip

Click Instances to Skip PM_instances_to_skip_circle.gif and with the pointer Pointer_InstancesToSkip.gif, select instances in the graphics area that you do not want to include in the pattern.
