Document Properties - Drafting Standard

You can specify the document-level overall detailing drafting standard, and rename, copy, delete, export, or load saved custom drafting standards. Available for all document types.

To open this page:

With a drawing open, click Options (Standard toolbar), select the Document Properties tab, and then select Drafting Standard.

Overall drafting standard
Select an overall standard:
  • ANSI
  • ISO
  • DIN
  • JIS
  • BSI
  • GOST
  • GB
In addition to these standards, you can select from any custom drafting standards you create.
Each time you select an overall standard, the base standard for each detail is updated to reflect this selection.
Rename Click to rename a custom drafting standard. When you rename a standard, the old name is deleted.
Copy Click to copy the custom drafting standard to a standard of a new name without deleting the standard.
Delete Click to delete a copied or renamed standard.
Load From External File Click to load a custom standard from a file.
Save to External File Click to export a custom standard to a file.

Uppercase

All uppercase Sets the default case used in notes and balloons to all uppercase.
Exclusion list Lists strings that should not be automatically capitalized.

To exclude strings such as units of measurement from capitalization, type them in the text box, separated by semicolons.
