Adding a Component List Column

When you open the CircuitWorks Component Library, the component list in the left pane contains columns for the ECAD Component Name, ECAD Part Number, and Device Class. You can add columns to this list.

To add a component list column:

  1. Click Add Column .
  2. In the Mapping Column to Property dialog box, in Available properties, select a property.
The list includes the component properties shown in the lower right pane and custom properties you have added.
A new column labeled with the property name appears in the left pane.
You can remove columns you add, or substitute a different column that shows a different set of properties.
You cannot remove or change the original columns.
  • To remove a column, right-click the heading of an added column and click Remove Column.

The column is removed but the properties displayed in the column are not.

  • To substitute another column:
  1. Right-click the heading of an added column and click Change Column.
  2. In the Mapping Column to Property dialog box, in Available properties, select a different property.

The column heading and properties change to your new selection.
