PhotoView 360 Lighting Properties

Edit the PhotoView 360 properties of lights on the PhotoView tabs of the Directional Light, Point Light, and Spot Light PropertyManagers.

Directional, spot, and point lights are off by default in PhotoView 360 because the best way to light your model in previews and final renders is to use the Primary PhotoView 360 Lighting.

When to Use Lights in PhotoView 360

Use lights:

  • To add special lighting effects, such as caustics.
  • To illuminate a specific area of your model.
  • To control shadow direction and strength.
  • To illuminate an area of your model that you cannot make visible using Primary PhotoView 360 Lighting. For example, if the model is a trash can turned on its side, the inside of the trash can appears dark unless you shine a light into it.
