Selecting Icon Colors

You can select either the Default or Classic icon color scheme.

The Default icons use a blue and gray color scheme to provide a cool, crisp look, and to avoid distracting attention from the main design area. The visual styling uses dark gray outlining to define the icon shape and blue to emphasize the primary action or feature.

The Classic icons use colors similar to the icons from earlier versions of SOLIDWORKS.

To select the icon color scheme:

  1. Click Options (Standard toolbar) and click Colors.
  2. For Icon colors, select Default or Classic.
  3. Click OK.
