Mesh Settings

Improvements in mesh settings include uniform mesh, control planes, and quality plots.

  • Uniform mesh. For better convergence you may need to create a uniform mesh around a body. The equidistant refinement ensures a uniform mesh around a body with minimum effort.
  • Gaps. You can automatically fill gaps of a specified size with the solid at the meshing stage.
  • User interface. The Mesh Settings PropertyManager is updated with a new interface.
  • Control planes. There is improved specification of control planes.
  • Previews. A preview mesh is available.
  • Quality plots. Mesh quality plots show where the mesh is too coarse, where geometry is poorly resolved, and so on.
