Face Curves PropertyManager

To open this PropertyManager, do one of the following:

  • Click Face Curves Tool_Face_Curves_Sketch.gif (Sketch toolbar) or Tools > Sketch Tools > Face Curves, then select a face or surface.
  • Select a face or surface, then click Face Curves Tool_Face_Curves_Sketch.gif or Tools > Sketch Tools > Face Curves.

Selections

PM_face.gif Face Name of the face or surface from which the iso-parametric curve is extracted.
PM_setback_vertices.gif Position Vertex Select a vertex or point to specify the intersection of the two curves.
You cannot drag the vertex.
Mesh Evenly spaced curves. Specify an integer number of curves for Direction 1 Number of Curves PM_Direction_1_Number_of_Curves.gif and Direction 2 Number of Curves PM_Direction_2_Number_of_Curves.gif. Clear if the curve is not required.
Position The intersection of two orthogonal curves. Drag the position in the graphics area or specify the percentage distance from the bottom for Direction 1 Position PM_Direction_1_Number_of_Curves.gif and from the right for Direction 2 Position PM_Direction_2_Number_of_Curves.gif. Clear if the curve is not required.

Options

Constrain to model When selected, the curves are updated if the model changes.
Ignore holes Use for imported surfaces with internal gaps or loops. When selected, the curves are generated across holes as though the surface were intact. When cleared, the curves stop at the edges of holes.
