Difficulties in Uploading Files to 3D ContentCentral

There are no set rules to determine whether a file will upload, but there are some general guidelines that may help. 3D ContentCentral is unable to upload files that are too large or too complex, and they must be free of rebuild errors.

Parts:
  • Should open and rebuild in less than 90 seconds
  • Should contain less than 200 simple features, or 100 complex features such as surfacing
Assemblies:
  • Should be smaller than 15 Mb (.zip file)
  • Should contain less than 20 components
