Enabling Your PDF Reader in Your Internet Browser

To see the previews of 3D PDF files in the Publish to 3D PDF PropertyManager, your PDF reader must be enabled in your internet browser.

Typically, the reader is automatically enabled when you download it, but it can become disabled. If the reader is disabled, you need to enable it manually.

Example: Enabling Adobe PDF Reader in Internet Explorer 11

If you use Adobe PDF Reader and Internet Explorer 11, follow this procedure. For more information, see Microsoft help topic Manage add-ons in Internet Explorer 11.

Other PDF readers and browsers follow similar procedures.
  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Manage add-ons and do the following:
    1. Under Add-on Types, click Toolbars and Extensions.
    2. For Show, select Currently loaded add-ons.
If Adobe Reader is listed under Name, it is installed. If it is not listed, you need to install it.
    3. If the Status is Disabled, right-click Disabled and click Enabled.
  2. Close Internet Explorer.
