Add-Ins
Integrate compatible applications with your installed SolidWorks software,
for the current session or at the next startup, or both. The add-in applications
must be installed on your computer.
You can also activate SolidWorks add-ins
from the Office Products tab of
the CommandManager.
This displays the add-in's toolbar in the CommandManager, but does not
set the add-in to be activated at the next startup.
To use other software applications with
SolidWorks:
Click Tools, Add-Ins.
Select or clear applications under Active
Add-ins or under Start Up.
Selecting the check box under Active
Add-ins adds the application for the current session. Selecting
the check box under Start Up adds
the application for every session.
Click OK.
Some add-in
applications provide a tab at the top of the FeatureManager design tree
panel, such as the PhotoWorks Render Manager on the far right. |

You can also display an add-in application's toolbar
to the SolidWorks window.
