Routing through Clips
There are several ways to route a cable through a clip.
To automatically route on drop of clips:
Click Tools,
Options, System
Options, Routing, and select
Automatically route on drop of clips.
Edit the route sub-assembly and add connectors
as necessary. Then start the route from one of the connectors, or select
a point at the end of any route segment to define the current route end.
Drag a clip into the route, and drop it into position.
A spline is added from the current route end to the nearest route point
on the clip. The route end is automatically moved to the second route
point of that clip. Continue the route by placing the next clip, drawing
a line or spline, or selecting the end connector component. The clip is
a component of the route sub-assembly.
To route an existing segment through clips:
Click Route Through
Clip
(Routing tools toolbar) or Routing,
Routing Tools, Route
Through Clip.
Specify route segments and clips in the PropertyManager.

You can also update an existing
route to travel through selected clips by selecting Re-route
spline under Routing Mode
in the Auto
Route PropertyManager.
