The Add Parameters dialog box appears.

  1. In the Name field, type a name for the parameter.

  2. To attach a comment, type it in the Comment box.

  3. From the Filter menu, select the class of the parameter. Only parameter types related to the selected class become available in the Type menu. The following classes are available:

  1. From the Type menu, select the desired parameter type.

  2. Type a numeric value in the User defined value box and select the desired units in the Units box, or select the Expression check box and type an expression.

The program converts units when evaluating an expression. However, you need to make sure that all terms of the expression have the proper units.

  2. When you are finished adding parameters, click OK to close the Parameters dialog box.
