Probe Callout Enhancements

Probe callouts contain more information and can be relocated in the graphics area.


  • You can move probe results to different locations in the graphics area.

  • You can customize the callouts to display annotations such as ID numbers (node numbers), coordinates, and results-specific information like von Mises stress or temperature. In the Probe Result PropertyManager, under Annotations, select or clear the results-specific annotations. In this example of a thermal study, Show Value is selected and Show Node/Element Number and Show X, Y, Z Location are cleared.

  • When probing an envelope plot for a transient study, the solution step is listed.
