Use the Advanced Conversion Options (STEP) dialog box to set options when exporting part or assembly documents as STEP files.
To display this dialog box:
- When configuring a conversion task, on the Conversions Settings page of the Convert - Properties dialog box, for Output file format, select STEP (*.step) and click Conversion Options.
- When initiating a conversion task, in the Convert dialog box, for Output file format, select STEP (*.step) and click Conversion Options.
| Solid/Surface geometry |
Exports the geometry as solids and surface bodies. |
| 3D curves |
Exports the solid and surface bodies as wireframe entities. All 3D curves (composite curves, 3D wires, imported curves, and so on) are also saved.- Export sketch entities
- Exports all the items in 3D curves, plus all 2D and 3D sketches in the document.
