Adding the Policy Manually

To add the policy manually:

  1. From Windows Start, click Programs > SolidWorks Enterprise PDM > Administration .
  2. Under Local settings, right-click Group Policies, then click Open.
  3. In the Group Policy dialog box, under User Configuration, right-click Administrative Templates, then select Add/Remove Templates.
  4. In the Add/Remove Templates dialog box, click Add.
  5. Use the Policy Templates dialog box to browse to the Enterprise PDM CD, to the \Support\Policies folder, and to the PDMWorks Enterprise.ADM policy template, then click Open.

    The Enterprise PDM Settings policy options appear under Administrative Templates.

  6. Click Close.
