Flattening a Route
You can flatten an electrical route sub-assembly to create:
Creating a Flattened Route
To flatten a route:

In the route sub-assembly, click Flatten Route
(Electrical toolbar) or Routing, Electrical, Flatten Route.

Set options in the PropertyManager.

The flattened route is created as a new configuration of the 3D electrical route sub-assembly. In the FeatureManager design tree, a Flattened Route
feature is added.
To toggle between the 3D and flattened route, right-click Route
or Flattened Route
and select Show Configuration.
If you selected Drawing Options in the PropertyManager, the software creates a drawing file with a flattened view of the route.
Editing a Flattened Route
You can make changes to flattened configuration of the 3D model by dragging entities and constraining them. These changes are not applied to the 3D configuration, but do appear in the drawing view.
Make geometric changes (such as adding or deleting branches) in the 3D configuration, and the flattened configuration and the drawing update.
To edit a flattened route:

Activate the flattened route by right-clicking FlattenedRoute
and selecting Show Configuration.

Right-click the flattened route and select Edit Flattened Route.

Use the tools in the PropertyManager to make changes.
