Node Offset. Sets the node offset. The lowest node label in the generated file will be the specified node offset + 1.

Element Offset. Sets the element offset. The lowest element label in the generated file will be the specified element offset + 1.

Units. The unit of length to be used in exporting the model.

Export FEM Only. When checked, only FEM will be exported to COSMOSM.

Export geometry. When checked, only geometry will be exported. Exporting geometry helps you specify loads and boundary conditions in GEOSTAR.

Launch GEOSTAR automatically. When this option is active, the software asks you whether you want to launch GEOSTAR every time you export a model to COSMOSM. The exported information will be automatically loaded to GEOSTAR upon confirmation. The GEOSTAR problem name is created as partname-studyname-geo.
You can also export your model to these FEA programs: ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, Patran, IDEAS, and Exodus. You need SolidWorks Simulation Professional or Premium license to export your model to the available FEA programs.
To export a study to COSMOSM:

In the Simulation study tree, right-click the icon of the desired study and select Export.

In the Save As dialog box. do the following

In the Save in field, browse to select a folder.

In the File name field, enter a name for the file.

From the Save as type menu, select Simulation Files (*.geo).

Click Options.

In the Export Options - COSMOSM dialog box:

Set the Offsets and Options for export.

Click OK.
In the Save As dialog box, click Save.
