AutoCAD to SolidWorks Command Map

The following topics contain tables that map AutoCAD® toolbar commands to SolidWorks tools and online Help topics.

When you click a tool title text link in the mapping tables, you link to a SolidWorks Help topic. When you click a SolidWorks tool icon, the tool is highlighted in SolidWorks for five seconds. When you select an icon, the following actions might occur:

  • If the toolbar that contains the tool is not open, then the toolbar appears automatically.

  • If the tool is not on the toolbar, then the tool is added to the toolbar automatically.

  • If SolidWorks is already open, it does not come to the front of other applications, so the highlighting action may be hidden from view.
