Advanced Fixtures for 2D Simplification Studies

Symmetry
Restrains the selected edge from moving along the in-plane normal direction to the edge. This option is similar to the Roller/Slider options.

Use Reference Geometry
Use a reference geometry to apply restraints. The reference can be a face or plane parallel to the section plane, or axis, or to an edge. The table shows the translations and rotations not applicable along certain directions.

Axis on the section plane

 You cannot apply rotations
