Exporting Multisheet Drawings to DXF or DWG Paper Space

When exporting multisheet drawings as .dxf or .dwg files, you can specify that the drawings be defined in paper space, rather than model space.

  1. Click File > Save As.

  2. In the dialog box, for Save as type, select DXF or DWG.
  3. Click Options.
  4. In the Export Options dialog box, for Multiple sheet drawing, select Export all drawing sheets to paper space.

  5. Set other options and click OK.
  6. In the Save As dialog box, type the filename and click Save.
  7. If the SolidWorks to DXF/DWG Mapping dialog box appears, specify mapping options and click OK.
