Circular Note Pattern

You can display notes in a circular pattern in drawings.

To create a circular pattern of the note:

  1. Create the note that you want to display in a circular pattern.
  2. Select the note.
  3. In a drawing view, click Circular Note Pattern (Annotations toolbar) or Insert > Annotations > Circular Note Pattern .
  4. In the PropertyManager, under Parameters:
    • To set a pattern center other than the center of the drawing view, in Center X and Center Y , set the values. You can also drag the selection point to set the center of the pattern.
    • Set Spacing to specify the total number of degrees in the pattern. You can also set the spacing in the graphics area .
    • Select Equal spacing to pattern equidistant instances.
    • Set Number of Instances to the total number of notes to create. You can also set the number of instances in the graphics area .
    • Set Radius to specify the radius of the pattern. You can also drag the selection point to set the radius .
    • Set Arc Angle to specify the angle that is measured from the center of the selected note to the center point or vertex of the pattern.

    • Click Reverse Direction to create the pattern in the opposite direction along the circle. You can also reverse direction in the graphics area by clicking the handle .
      You can change the radius and set the center of the pattern in the graphics area by dragging the selection point .

  5. Click .
  6. After you create the pattern, you can edit the notes individually.
