To log in to a vault from an Enterprise PDM client, a license that matches the currently installed license type and version must be available. Use the Set License dialog box to add or modify licenses.
You must add a new license key when you upgrading to a new version of Enterprise PDM. Licenses are valid on all Enterprise PDM vaults.
You do not enter the license key for SolidWorks Enterprise Dispatch in this dialog box. You are prompted for the Dispatch license when you administer Dispatch scripts.
To add or modify licenses:
- Right-click the License node and select Open.

In the Set License dialog box, under License file, do one:

Enter the path to the license file.
- Click
and browse to the license file.
- Click Request license file to use the customer portal to obtain a license file.

- Reopen the Set License dialog box to view the licenses.
