Get file Dialog Box

Use the Get file dialog box to retrieve a copy of the specified file to the local cache.

To display this dialog box:

Click Add in the Edit Action dialog box, then choose Get file and click OK.

Use the Get file command to ensure that the Dispatch script uses the latest available file version; when the Dispatch action is triggered, the script fetches the specified file.

Filepath

Specifies the exact path (including the filename) of the file to be retrieved. To add a defined variable (for example, a variable containing the filename), click Right Arrow Icon.

Get latest version of file if missing

Select to retrieve file only if it is missing from the local cache.

Get latest version of file if missing or earlier version

Select to retrieve file regardless of the version stored in the local cache.
