Quick Start: Exporting the Assembly to CircuitWorks

You can export a model back to CircuitWorks.

To export the cellphone assembly:

  • From SolidWorks, click CircuitWorks > Export to CircuitWorks.

    Because the assembly was originally created by CircuitWorks, you are not prompted to select the top face of the board component.

    The export is complete when the CircuitWorks Progress pane displays Process Complete.

CircuitWorks now has two windows: cellphone.emn is the original IDF file and cellphone is the newly exported model.
