Quick Start: Saving a File

You can save open data files to IDF.

To save the cellphone data you exported from SolidWorks:

  1. Click in the cellphone window (not cellphone.emn).
  2. Click Save (Quick Access toolbar).
  3. From the Save As dialog box:
    1. Select the folder in which to save the file.
    2. Type cellphone_quickstart for File name.
    3. Select IDF 3.0 (*.emn/*.emp) for Save as type.
    4. Click Save.
  4. Click OK to dismiss the confirmation box.
