Quick Start: Opening a File

You can open ECAD files from SolidWorks.

To open the cellphone IDF file:

  1. Click CircuitWorks > Open ECAD File.
  2. From the dialog box, select cellphone.emn (in the folder <install_dir>\CircuitWorksFull\Examples\IDF 3.0).
  3. Click Open.

CircuitWorks displays the cellphone data in the tree view and as a preview image.
