SolidWorks eDrawings Manager

The SolidWorks eDrawings Manager, located on the left side of the SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer window, displays tabs that let you manage file information.

When you open a file, the most appropriate tab opens automatically. For example, when you open an assembly file, the Components tab Tab_Components.gif opens.
Certain functionality, such as the ability to markup and measure files, is available only if you have SolidWorks eDrawings Professional installed. See SolidWorks eDrawings Professional Overview for more information.

To collapse the eDrawings Manager, click Manager_Arrow_Collapse.gif or Manager_Bar.gif. To expand, click Manager_Arrow_Expand.gif or Manager_Bar.gif.

The eDrawings Manager tabs are:
Tab_Analysis.gif Simulation SolidWorks Simulation and SolidWorks SimulationXpress analysis data
Tab_Animations.gif Animations All SolidWorks and eDrawings documents
Tab_Components.gif Components Assemblies
Tab_Configurations.gif Configurations SolidWorks eDrawings Professional or review-enabled parts and assemblies
Tab_Cross_Section.gif Cross Section SolidWorks eDrawings Professional or review-enabled parts and assemblies
Tab_Layers.gif Layers Drawings
Tab_Markup.gif Markup SolidWorks eDrawings Professional or review-enabled parts and assemblies
