Toolbars

You can use the tools on the SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer toolbars and on the tabs in the SolidWorks eDrawings Manager to perform many tasks. The toolbar visibility state is remembered between sessions.

  • Standard Views (model view orientations)
  • Large Buttons (text displayed with the tool images)

The other toolbars are always visible and are grouped according to tool types.

Tools are context-sensitive. The tools that appear depend on the active document type. For example, the Sheets tab Tab_Sheets.gif with drawing tools Overview Window tool_Overview.gif, 3D Pointer tool_Pointer.gif, and Create Layout tool_Create_Layout.gif appear only in active drawing documents.

To display or hide individual toolbars:

  1. Click View > Toolbars.
  2. Select or clear the toolbar name to turn its display on or off.
