Copy file Dialog Box

Use the Copy file dialog to prompt a user for a source file and the destination to which the file will be copied.

To display this dialog box:

Click Add in the Edit Action dialog box, then choose Copy file and click OK.

The source and destination values the user specifies are stored in Dispatch runtime variables you specify.

It is the version of the file that is currently stored in the local cache that is copied. If no version is cached, the latest available is copied. Be sure to combine this command with "Get file" in order to retrieve the correct version.

Source file

Specifies the exact path (including the filename) to the source file to be copied. To add a defined variable (for example a variable containing the selected file path), click right arrow .

Destination file

Specifies the exact path (including the filename) to where the copied file is to be placed. To select a defined variable (for example a variable containing the destination filename), click right arrow. If the destination already exists, a warning displays.
