Previewing a Custom PropertyManager

You can preview a custom PropertyManager to see how it will appear in SolidWorks and in 3D ContentCentral.

In the preview, you can make selections and update the model to verify that the PropertyManager works as you intend. The fields in the PropertyManager function identically in SolidWorks and 3D ContentCentral. Only the visual appearance is different.

To preview the PropertyManager:

  1. In the center pane, click the SW Preview tab or the 3DCC Preview tab.

    A preview of the PropertyManager appears.

  2. Make selections in the fields.
  3. Click Update Model.

    In the graphics area, the model changes to the selected configuration.

  4. Click the Edit tab and click Close to close the dialog box.
