When you open an ECAD file from SOLIDWORKS, the CircuitWorks application appears. Use this interface to open, compare, and save ECAD files, filter features to reduce complexity, modify ECAD properties, and build SOLIDWORKS part and assembly models.

Use the CircuitWorks application menu to open and save ECAD files, print the preview image, access CircuitWorks options, and exit CircuitWorks.
Use the Quick Access toolbar to access the CircuitWorks commands you use most.
Use the CircuitWorks toolbar (also known as the ribbon) to access CircuitWorks tools and commands. Click the Tools, Preview, or EDMD tab to display the corresponding commands.
The CircuitWorks tree view is a hierarchical display of ECAD data.
The CircuitWorks preview image is a graphical representation of the ECAD data.
The panel on the right side of the CircuitWorks application appears when you view item properties or use a filter tool.
You can multiselect items in the CircuitWorks tree and display or edit common properties. You can also access zoom and view options by right-clicking in CircuitWorks preview area.
