Switching Component Instances to a Different Configuration

You can switch component instances from one configuration to another.

To switch the configurations of component instances:

Pause the pointer over a part or assembly template to display the configurations option.
Click .
The Configuration dialog box opens.
In the configuration list, select the configuration to switch from.
Enter a number for Switch n instances to configuration:.
If there is only one instance of the component, you cannot enter a number of instances to switch.
In the drop-down list, select a configuration to switch to.
Click Switch.
The specified number of instances switch from one configuration to the other.
