Computing BOMs for As-built Assemblies

You can toggle the view for a computed BOM for different versions of the components of an assembly. This is useful if you modify components of an assembly after you create the assembly.

You can compute the BOM for a selected version of an assembly:
  • Using versions of components originally referenced by the selected version of the assembly when the version was created
  • Using the latest versions of components referenced by the selected version of the assembly

To compute the BOM for an assembly that references the versions of components in the assembly as it was built:

  • Select As Built.
Clear As Built to display the latest version of all components in the assembly.
