Replying to Comments

To reply to an existing comment:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select a comment on the Markup pane and click Reply tool_Reply.gif.
    • Click Tools > Markup > Reply to Comment.
    • Right-click a comment on the Markup pane and select Reply.
    • Right-click the comment in the graphics area and select Reply.
Only one active comment appears in the graphics area at one time.

A new comment appears in a threaded discussion with the original comment.

  2. Add markups elements in the graphics area.

When you reply to a comment in a drawing, the markup elements for all comments retain their original color. When you reply to a comment in a model, the markup elements for the original comment turn gray or a color specified in Tools > Options.
