Logging in to the Web2 Client

You can view a full version of the Web2 client on a laptop or a desktop monitor, or a more compact mobile version on a smaller device such as a smart phone or a tablet.

To log in to the SOLIDWORKS PDM Web2 client:

Open a link using a Web browser.

Log in to Dialog Box

License Select the license, either Web or Viewer.

If you select a Viewer license, the system must have available Viewer or PSL licenses. You cannot log in if only a CAD Editor license, Contributor license, or both are available.

Username Type the username.
Password Type the SOLIDWORKS PDM password.

You must enter your password even if an administrator has set the vault to use Active Directory credentials with auto login.

Remember me When selected, Web2 client remembers the vault name (in case of multiple vault log in screen), license type, and username.
If an administrator enables access to multiple vaults in the Web2 client configuration settings, the Vault list appears on the Log in to screen. You can select a vault from the Vault list.
