Inserting a Bill of Materials Placeholder

You can insert a placeholder for a Bill of Materials (BOM) on a template.

To insert a BOM placeholder:

  1. In the 3D PDF Template Editor, click BOM Table .
    A table placeholder appears on the template.
  2. Optionally, drag and resize the placeholder on the template.
  3. Click outside of the placeholder to release it.
When you publish a model with a BOM, the BOM displays in the table placeholder.

Multiple BOMs

In the 3D PDF Template Editor, you can add more than one BOM to a template. If there is more than one BOM, you can assign the table to a BOM in the original document or to follow the assembly order.

To add multiple BOMs:

  1. In an open template in the 3D PDF Template Editor, click BOM Table .
    You can position and resize the table.
  2. Repeat step 1 to add additional BOM tables.
