Downloading your Model

To download the model from the preview page:

Click Download.

This is the model 3D ContentCentral users get when they download the model from your catalog.

To evaluate Defeature using the preview download:

  1. Click Back to Grid View to return to your Catalog Dashboard.
  2. Select a model or models to be processed prior to download.
  3. Click to enable Defeature on your selected model(s).

    Excluded appears in the Features column to show that the features are removed from downloads.

Defeature is one way to hide internal details in your existing models that may represent intellectual property. This operation is performed just prior to download, so highly configurable models may still be configured. Defeature also reduces file size and provides users with only the details they need to design around your components.
