Preparing your System

To prepare your computer for uploading models to 3D ContentCentral:

  1. Log on to http://www.3dcontentcentral.com.
  2. Register for a Supplier Services account here by completing the required information.
  3. To create a catalog for your products, click the down arrow next to your name and click Manage Catalogs.
  4. Click Create a New Catalog.
  5. Complete the Add a Catalog form and click Create.
  6. Click MY 3DCC > CONTENT MANAGER. From the Content Manager, click UPLOAD NEW FILES.
  7. Follow the prompts to install the required plug-in to run the 3D ContentCentral File Upload tool.
  8. Click Download Excel Template.
    1. When prompted to Open or Save the file, click Open.
    2. Save 3DCC_Import_Template to your desktop.
  9. Download the sample files used in this tutorial to your computer.
    1. Click here to download and view the sample files.
    2. Navigate to the 3DCC Tutorial Files folder and drag the folder to your desktop.

    The sample files use different formats to show how they work with 3D ContentCentral.
