Configure logins and assign administrative and attach permissions.
Contents
As an administrator, you set up login accounts that control access to files and functions. You can apply default login settings to all vaults on the server or customize them for individual file vaults. You also set up the login account that the SOLIDWORKS PDM login client uses when it communicates with the SQL server.
The SOLIDWORKS PDM file vault database is hosted on a SQL server. When users log on to a file vault from a SOLIDWORKS PDM client, a SQL database connection is established using a SQL login account provided by the archive server.
You can give Windows accounts administrative and attach permissions.
