Changing Your Password

You can change your SOLIDWORKS PDM password from the Administration tool.

1. Start the Administration tool. Do one:
   • From Item Explorer, click Tools > Administration .
   • From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS PDM > Administration.
2. In the SOLIDWORKS PDM Administration window, double-click a vault.
   User names and passwords are specific to a vault. If you access multiple vaults, you must manage multiple passwords.
3. If prompted, type your user name and current password, then click Log In.
4. Under the vault, expand Users.
5. Right-click your user name and select Change Password.
6. In the Change Password dialog box:
   1. Type your new password in New password and Confirm new password.
   2. Type your current (old) password in Password of logged in user.
   3. Click OK.
