Revoking a Parallel Transition (For SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional only)

When you approve a parallel transition and then change your mind, you can revoke your approval.

A state change controlled by a parallel transition does not take place until the required number of users approves the transition. Until the state changes, any users who have run the transition can revoke their approval.

You can revoke a transition by using the Change State command or from the file's History dialog box.

To revoke a parallel transition by using Change State:

  1. Right-click the file for which you ran the transition and select Modify > Change State.
  2. From the submenu, select the transition you want to revoke.
Transitions that can be revoked are shown as:

    Revoke_transition Revoke 'transition_name (n/n+)'

    where:

    • transition_name is the transition.
    • n is the number of users who have approved the transition.
    • n+ is the number of approvals needed to change the file's state.
  3. In the Revoke Transition dialog box, ensure that Revoke is enabled for the file.
  4. Click OK.
