SOLIDWORKS Visualize Application Options

Two SOLIDWORKS Visualize products are available - SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard and SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional. The two products have different capabilities for rendering, input, output, scene preparation, animation, materials, lighting, camera optics, and productivity.

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard provides the fastest and easiest way to photo-quality images for anyone who needs "photos" of their 3D data.

You no longer compromise the quality of design presentations and marketing collateral by relying on screen captures or costly photographs of physical prototypes to show the latest design of your new product. You can quickly and easily provide marketing with photo-quality images as soon as your design is ready.

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional includes an extensive tool set that allows you to easily create images, animations, and interactive content.

You can tell a deeper story with CAD data by generating photo-quality imagery, interactive animations, and 360 degree spins to effectively communicate the most complex design details. SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional includes all the great features of SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard, plus advanced features like animations, real time Presentation Mode, and camera filters.

For a list of the current features in each version of the SOLIDWORKS Visualize software, see the Visualization matrix on the SOLIDWORKS products web site. http://www.solidworks.com/sw/products/visualization/solidworks-visualization-matrix.htm

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Boost is a service that allows you to distribute rendering from a computer running SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional to one or more computers on a network. You can perform other tasks on your computer while the rendering is being carried out, and the final rendered images are available sooner. Images can be rendered on a single computer, or on a cluster of several computers running Visualize Boost.

SOLIDWORKS Visualize Add-in

The SOLIDWORKS Visualize add-in, which is available in all versions of SOLIDWORKS, lets you export SOLIDWORKS features directly to SOLIDWORKS Visualize. You can export SOLIDWORKS geometry, appearances, HDR lighting, and decals. With SOLIDWORKS Professional, you can also export Motion Studies.
