Outputting the Images

To output the images:

  1. Adjust the camera to position it and the model in the 3D Viewport, so they are exactly as you want the output image of the scene.
  2. To output a quick snapshot of the scene:
    1. Click Output Tools > Snapshot to take a quick snapshot (a customized screen shot) of the scene from the perspective of the current camera.
    2. Set options in the Output Tools dialog box and click Take Snapshot.
  3. To output a high quality rendering of the scene:
    1. Click Output Tools > Render .
    2. Set options in the Output Tools dialog box.
    3. Click Start Render.
      The rendering may take a few minutes depending on your hardware.
    The snapshot is saved in the Images library at SOLIDWORKS Visualize Content\Images.
