Circular Duct Elbow Geometry Requirements

The following elements are required to create a circular duct elbow for using in a duct route assembly. Please note that the feature names and dimension names except BendRadius@ElbowArc and BendAngle@ElbowArc may change as per your design requirements.

Round Duct Elbow Sketch

  • Route: A sketch on the Top plane named Route with a dimension named Diameter@Route.
    Diameter@Route = 1
  • ElbowArc: A sketch on the Front-Right plane named ElbowArc with dimensions:
    • BendAngle@ElbowArc (mandatory dimension)
    • BendRadius@ElbowArc (mandatory dimension)

    BendAngle@ElbowArc = 90°

    BendRadius@ElbowArc = 1.5

  • Sketch3: Two connection point properties on the Front-Right plane with names and dimensions:
    • CPoint1
      • Diameter@CPoint1
      • StubLength@CPoint1
    • CPoint2
      • Diameter@CPoint2
      • StubLength@CPoint2
    Sketch3: CPoint1 and CPoint2

Sweep

A sweep feature on the Top plane named Sweep-Thin1 with dimension named Thickness@Sweep-Thin1.
