Because large assemblies can take a long time to rebuild, you might want to postpone the rebuild to a more convenient time. For assemblies that are in Large Assembly Mode, you can set a system option to automatically skip the rebuild when switching back to the assembly after editing a component in a separate window.
- Click Options

- On the System Options tab, click Assemblies.
- Under When Large Assembly Mode is active, select Do not rebuild when switching to assembly window.

Click OK.
For assemblies that are in Large Assembly Mode, when you switch back to the assembly window after editing a component in a separate window, no message appears. The rebuild of the assembly is skipped even if you have previously selected
Don't show again and clicked
Yes (to rebuild). A yellow warning triangle appears on
Rebuild 
(Standard toolbar) to remind you that the changes you made to the component have not been incorporated yet.
At a more convenient time, you can rebuild the assembly by clicking Rebuild
(Standard toolbar) or .
