Options Dialog Box - Queue Tab

To display the Queue tab of the Options dialog box, click Tools > Options, and click Queue.

The Queue tab in the Options dialog box is available only in SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional.

The Queue lets you produce off-line queued renderings of images and animations.

Queue Options

Automatically open Queue client when a job is sent to the Queue Opens the local queue client whenever you send a job to the queue for rendering.
Queue is currently (Read-only.) Shows the current state of the queue service.

For example, Stopped or Running.

Advanced Settings

Queue Port Sets the port number for the Queue Server. The default is 8050.
Number of days to save files Sets the number of days the Queue Server keeps render jobs before deleting them.
Minimum hard drive free space (percentage) Displays the amount of free space you need on your local hard drive for the Queue.
Render timeout (in seconds) Defines how much time the Queue has to transfer the current job before it is stopped.

For very complex scenes, increase the time limit to allow all data to be transferred to the Render Queue.

Output Directory Displays the folder where the results of queued renderings are saved.
Start/Stop Queue Starts or stops the Queue Server Service.

If you change settings, you must stop and restart the Queue Server Service for the settings to take effect.
