Turntable Tools

You can use a turntable for a model to make a series of renderings that show the model rotating around its own center or around the world origin.

Turntable tools are available only in SOLIDWORKS Visualize Professional.

To add a realtime turntable to a model:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Turntable .
This turns on the turntable. If a model is selected, a turntable is added for the model. If no model is selected, a turntable is selected for all models in all model sets.
  2. Control the turntable with the following options:
    Disable Removes the turntable (Ctrl+Shift+T).
    Play Starts the turntable.
    Pause Stops the turntable.
Slower Slows down the turntable (Ctrl+,).
Faster Speeds up the turntable (Ctrl+.).
Reverse Rotation Reverses the turntable direction (Ctrl+Alt+T).
Reset Resets the turntable and model to their original positions (Ctrl+Shift+R).
  3. To show or hide the turntable, press Ctrl+T.
