Print Selection To specify an area of the drawing sheet to print: In a drawing, click File > Print. In the dialog box, under Print range, choose Selection, then click OK. The Print Selection dialog box appears, and a selection frame appears on the drawing sheet. The frame reflects the current printer settings (such as page size, and orientation) as defined in the Page Setup dialog box. Select a scale factor to apply to the selected area: Option Description Model scale (1:1) The selected area is printed at actual size; a model dimension of 100mm is printed at 100mm. The default sheet scale is used to calculate the correct print size; for areas that use a scale different from the default sheet scale, you might need to use a custom scale. Sheet scale (1:1) The selected area is printed as it appears on the full sheet. If the drawing size and the paper size are the same, the entire sheet is printed. Otherwise, only the selected area is printed. Custom scale The selected area is printed at a scale factor you specify. Type a scale, then click Apply scale. Drag the selection frame to position it. You can pan or zoom the view.The pointer changes to as you position the selection frame. Click OK to print the selected area.
