Assigning Services to Members

Administrators can assign services to members. Examples of services are MySolidWorks Professional and eLearning courses. Unlike products, you cannot transfer services. After you assign a service to a member, you cannot remove the service from that member.

To assign services to members:

  1. Click the Members tab.
  2. Search for a member in the Find Members pane or click a username from the list.
  3. In the Member's page, below Member's Details, click Services.

    The Services tab lists services associated with the member and Available Services that are not assigned.

  4. Under Available Services, select a service and click Assign Service.

    When you assign services to a member, you can assign only one service at a time. The first item in the list is selected by default. If the product that you want to assign is not first on the list, clear the first item and select the correct item.

The Admin Portal adds the product to the member’s Services list.
