You can open an auto-recovered document from the
Alerts tab of the Welcome Dialog Box. You can
then delete it, save it by replacing the original file, or save it by creating a new
file.
When you start SOLIDWORKS after the system has terminated unexpectedly, any
available auto-recovered documents are listed under Document
Recovery in the Alerts tab of the
Welcome Dialog Box. For more information, refer to Welcome Dialog Box and Alerts Tab.
To open an auto-recovered document:
Click the Open All button besides the
Document Recovery list, or right-click the document
and click Open.
You can then save the document either by using
Save to replace the original file or by using
Save As to create a new file.
To delete an auto-recovered document, right-click the document
and click Delete.
